Heavy welded steel construction loading hopper, lever actuated clamshell hopper, and two material pans that slide under each half of splitter chute. One pan can be replaced by a bag loading chute to return one half of the charge to a sample bag. The single-splitter chute has aluminum or plated steel bars with a locating rod passed through their lower ends to provide wide flexibility in sizes of chute openings. Two materials pans are included.

Fixed Chute Riffle Splitters
Riffle-type sample splitters divide or halve dry materials such as cement, gravel, powdered ores, coal, coke, sand, soils, etc. Material poured into the hopper is divided into two equal portions by a series of chutes that discharge the material alternately in opposite directions into separate pans.
