SS-15 Gilson 8" Sieve Shaker
The Model SS-15 Sieve Tester is a budget, portable, 8-inch sieve shaker designed to outperform other comparably priced equipment. The 1/4-hp unit is widely accepted by state transportation departments for highway materials testing. Back and forth lateral motion is combined with up and down and tilting motions to cause test material to travel in an orbit on the sieve surfaces. The Tester holds 6 full-height sieves and pan or 13 half-height sieves and pan. Clamp bar with attached cover secures sieves. The 15-minute timer has an adjustable knob-stop for improved repeatability, and a "hold" feature for continuous running. Freestanding operation is normal, but may be mounted via holes provided in bottom end flanges. Motor and all mechanical parts are enclosed in a sturdy metal case. Overall dimensions are 17x11x30" WxDxH.

SS-24 Rotary Lab Sifter for 8" & 12" Sieves
The rugged SS-24 Rotary Lab Sifter quickly and efficiently processes samples in either 8in or 12in sieves. Simple conversion between the two sieve sizes takes less than a minute and requires no tools. Sieve stacks require no clamping and the mechanism is completely enclosed.
The sieve stack is continuously rotated at an angle with a 1/3 hp motor. UHMW polyethylene faced hammers apply additional agitation for effective separations. A safety switch cuts power if the door is opened during operation. The digital countdown controller with large red LED display precisely times test cycles to ±1 second. Settings are saved between cycles, allowing precise repeatability and one-button operation. The timer has a pause function and selectable modes for operation up to 99 hours, 59 minutes.
